The Central Baltimore Partnership (CBP) is a nonprofit Community Quarterback organization coordinating a comprehensive revitalization agenda in 11 Central Baltimore neighborhoods with over 150 active partners from neighborhood associations and grassroots groups to small businesses; other nonprofits; city, state, and federal government; and anchor institutions. CBP has historically focused on vacant property activation, homeownership opportunity, commercial revitalization, and open space development. As investment momentum has grown, CBP has continuously developed new, intentional efforts to ensure everyone can participate in and benefit from the new vitality. All CBP's work centers on this fundamental goal of equity and engages cross-sector partners and residents to drive place-based improvements in social, health, and economic mobility. CBP's Partnership Collaborative will focus on the Greater Greenmount communities, and consists of local organizations including Urban Strategies, Inc., MedStar Health, Baltimore City Department of Planning, Cecil Elementary School, Dallas Nicholas Elementary School, and Barclay Elementary/Middle School. With ENOUGH funds, CBP will develop an action plan centered around Healthy Families, Cradle-to-Career, Safe and Thriving Communities, and Economically Secure Families.
