CHEER (Community Health and Empowerment through Education and Research) is a nonprofit Community Quarterback whose mission is to “provide people with the knowledge and ability to create healthy, thriving communities.” CHEER will prioritize the Long Branch community in Montgomery County, and partner with organizations including, but not limited to Interfaith Works, Holy Cross Health, Montgomery County Community Action Agency, and Rolling Terrace Elementary School. The Neighborhood Action Plan will focus on early childhood education, healthy families, and economic security.
