Celebrating 150 years of racing!
The ENOUGH Initiative supports partnerships for sustainable change to strengthen families, communities, and the economy at the neighborhood level with state, local and private sector support. As Preakness celebrates 150 years of service in Maryland, The Governor's Office for Children is proud to partner with this year's festivities in recognition of its historic impact on children and families in Baltimore City.
For decades, Preakness has served as a beloved tradition of sport and community gathering, while providing opportunities of growth for our local businesses and patrons. We are honored to be the home of the Triple Crown's "second jewel", and we would like to thank Preakness for supporting the Park Heights community, understanding the importance of ENOUGH, and recognizing that eradicating child poverty should be a priority for all of us.

Special thank you to our friends at Park Heights Renaissance for your leadership and contribution to the Preakness Stakes and the ENOUGH Initiative. We look forward to continued partnership in building safe, thriving, and healthy communities for years to come. Together, we will create a better, stronger Maryland for all.
