​The Y in Central Maryland is a Community Quarterback whose commitment is to provide “family-oriented, affordable, high quality programs that focus on building inclusive, connected communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.” Their Partnership Collaborative will focus on the Waverly community in Baltimore, and consists of local organizations including, but not limited to Baltimore’s Promise, MedStar Union Memorial, Northeast Community Organization, and Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School. Their Neighborhood Action Plan will prioritize Cradle-to-Career Education, Safe and Thriving Communities, and Healthy Families.
