Howard County Local Children’s Board
The Howard County Local Children’s Board is comprised of public and private members working collaboratively to ensure a strong continuum of services for families and children in the community. The Howard County Local Children’s Board works in partnership stakeholders to ensure children grow up healthy, secure, and successful. The Board is responsible for assessing the needs of the community and, in collaboration with service providers, policy makers, community leaders and others, make sure that children and families get needed services and supports. The Board’s role is to assure that services are coordinated among local agencies and organizations.
