Charles County Advocacy Council for Children, Youth and Families
The Charles County Advocacy Council for Children, Youth, and Families (Advocacy Council) is responsible for developing a comprehensive array of human services for all children, youth, and families in Charles County as well as monitoring and evaluating contracts for services, outcomes, and results provided by the County and private human services. With the exception of advocacy and information, the Charles County Advocacy Council does not provide human services directly but contracts with public and private agencies to provide a variety of services for which it has received funding. The Charles County Advocacy Council works to ensure the implementation of a local interagency service delivery system for children, youth and families. This interagency service system provides a continuum of care that is family and child oriented, emphasizes prevention, early intervention and community based-services, and gives priority to children and families most at risk.
All programs operated in FY20 unless otherwise noted.
