Interagency Licensing committee (ILC)
The Interagency Licensing committee (ILC) is a standing committee of the Children's Cabinet.
The interagency Licensing Committee is responsible for providing a coordinated approach to the development and implementation of licensing and monitoring policy. It is chaired and staffed by the Governor’s Office for Children and consists of partners from the State Agencies that license, monitor and fund placements in residential child care facilities (Department of Human Resources, Department of Juvenile Services, Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Maryland State Department of Education).
Uniform Incident Report
In Senate Bill 478, of the 2010 session, the Maryland General Assembly established the Incident Reporting Interagency Workgroup comprised of the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Department of Juvenile Services, the Department of Human Resources and private licensed providers of residential child care services.
